About the Course

The Intensive ONLINE Instructor Development spans four weeks, is  hosted in a private Facebook Group, and will be limited to a small number of instructors to ensure individual attention is given to each attendee.

This course is open to ALL EQUINE INSTRUCTORS as topics will be applicable to both able-bodied and special-needs riders.

The course will incorporate FOUR presentations covering topics such as:

  • Incorporating whats, hows, whys
  • In-depth look at task analysis
  • Importance of preparatory commands and teaching in the moment
  • Horse and rider biomechanics
  • A deeper look at skill progression
  • Maintaining safety
  • Facilitating independence in all ability riders
  • Arena management techniques
  • And so much more!

There are TWO Registration Options:

Audit- $35 (limited to 10 per group)

Participant- $85 (limited to 4 per group)

What is the difference?

Audit- Auditors will have access to the closed facebook group which will include access to all presentations, discussion posts, and resources. Auditors will be required to watch all presentations and participate in the discussion posts to receive a certificate of participation at the end. (Auditors will NOT submit teaching videos for review)

Participants: Get the full intensive experience by being a Participant! In addition to the presentations, participants will submit 3 VIDEOS of their teaching (The video reviews are $105 value alone in addition to all the bonus course material!!!). Each video will receive in depth reviews and 'challenges' to help focus on specific areas to progress in that are unique to each person. The first video will be recorded before the course starts, the second video will be due at the end of week two, and the last will be due at the end of the course. Videos are a maximum of 30 minutes each and are 'raw' so no editing is needed! (If you have hesitations about the ability to submit all three teaching videos in a timely manner, the Audit option may be a good fit!)
