Welcome to HETRA University!
At HETRA, we are committed to providing high-quality education and programming to our participants and community, but that commitment isn’t restricted to the boundaries of the HETRA campus. Now, our Instructors and Therapists can share their wealth of knowledge with you in your very own home! Through these online materials, HETRA can continue to teach and serve our community regardless of the obstacles that are preventing our community from coming out to the barn. Please take a moment to explore some of the great content our staff have put together for you, and let us know what other topics you’d like us to cover!
Currently, HETRA University strives to provide a wide variety of free to low-cost educational materials for the entire family. We like to teach horse anatomy, terminology, and facts about our HETRA Herd through coloring pages and worksheets. The HETRA Mini Horses, Blue and Stormy, like to show up every once in a while for Storytime while one of our staff members reads a children’s book! We also routinely produce a variety of educational short videos and long-form equine instruction webinars videos geared toward our participants, volunteers, and/or Equine-Assisted Activity Professionals.
